It is where one can find the entire spectrum of Brazil’s musical wealth. Other places with exciting nightlife are Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo, Centro and Flamengo, among others. But nowhere is there such a great concentration of things to do at night as Lapa.
Within a couple of hours drive both north and south of the city of Rio de Janeiro are breathtaking natural paradises, such as Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis, Arraial do Cabo and Buzios, among others. For those taking extended trips to Rio, visiting these bastions of nature and relaxation is highly recommended.
